Spotify - Music and Podcasts maintained a steady revenue stream, fluctuating around the $65M mark, with a slight peak at $70M towards the end of the quarter. Downloads for the app showed a slight downward trend from 45K to just over 41K, while weekly active users hovered around the 8.2M to 8.3M range, indicating a consistently high level of engagement.
Shazam: Find Music & Concerts, now owned by Apple, saw no revenue but experienced an increase in downloads from 17K to 22K, with a mid-quarter dip. Weekly active users started at 1.78M, dipped slightly mid-quarter, and then rose significantly to nearly 1.94M by the end of June.
